Shay Mitchell is Canadian actress,model and entrepreneur. Her most famous role was that of Emily Fields from the Freeform TV series Pretty Little Liars. After having a great time in modeling and dancing, she wanted to give it a go at acting, and began acting classes in Toronto. Mitchell landed several commercials and played guest roles in television shows before landing her first major character in the role of Emily Fields. Both critics and her fans were impressed with her performance. The actress went on to be a star in the world of cinema with films like The Dreamland Mother's Dayand The Possession of Hannah Grace. In the The psychological thriller 'You', which earned more attention. As well as acting, she's stepped into writing. With Michaela Blayne, Mitchell wrote an adult novel called Bliss. Shay Mitchell was raised in Ontario by her parents Mark Mitchell & Precious Gonzalez. Shay Mitchell was born on 10th April 1987. Her father is Irish-Scottish and she has Irish descendance. Mitchell is her cousin to Lea Salonga the famous actor in musical theater and singer. Mitchell was a student at Rockridge Secondary, before switching to West Vancouver Secondary. At the end of her teenage years, she had modeled for a variety of companies across the world. The trip took her across the world to Barcelona Bangkok Hong Kong before finally returning home and studying modeling in Toronto.
