Annette O'Toole spent her childhood in the Houston studio, which was managed by mother. Annette O'Toole made her TV debut at the age of two, as a kid on The Don Mahoney Trooper Show. After ten years of singing and dance lessons with her mom and sister, she traveled into L.A. to try and explore if a show business career was feasible. She got her first job as a professional dancing instructor in less than two months. Danny Kaye's show The Danny Kaye Show. She has employed her dancing and singing abilities in a variety of ways. "The discipline you get from these classes is a huge benefit as an actor." The first time she acted was in My Three Sons. This was then followed with Gunsmoke. The Mod Squad. as well as Hawaii Five-O. O'Toole has starred in over forty television shows. In spite of her success for her work in TV and films, O'Toole's passion is theater. In the six years since her time on Smallville ended, she decided to devote her time to theater that's what she's been doing for the past decade. When she moved from New York, she had her debut on stage in The Sea Gull. She's been in numerous Off-Broadway productions. Among them are Adam Rapp's Kindness Tracy Letts' Man from Nebraska, and Tennessee Williams' A Lovely Sunday for Creve Couer.
